Kristen is a painter and photographer originally from the Midwest, now based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She holds a BA and MS in Psychology, along with an MA in Art, specializing in Painting and Photography. Kristen is a full-time wedding and portrait photographer, with her work featured in prominent publications, including The Washington Post. Her artistic journey blends her psychological insight with a passion for capturing moments, both in her paintings and photographs.

My oil paintings explore the intimate relationship between time and nature, inviting viewers to connect with fleeting moments through dynamic surfaces created with metal leaf. This technique captures the ever-changing interplay of light, offering a depth and luminosity that evolves with perspective, reflecting nature's transient beauty and encouraging pause and reflection.
